The Eccentric Fragrance of Eau de Cologne

You can likely catch the scent of some gentleman's eau de cologne by just walking into a nightclub or cinema. More than at any time before, so many men like to splash eau de cologne thinking they will capture the attention of some fine woman just as women use makeup or perfume to catch the attention of some fine, handsome man.

But did you know that in the distant past people used to wash themselves with eau de cologne? The first report of eau de cologne being used instead of bath water was in the eighteenth century. It was also employed as a mouthwash and sometimes even as an enema!

Those were the days when persons thought eau de cologne could heal any sort of disease. Even the manufacturers of eau de cologne marketed it in the same way. Today, we know more about science and medicine, and most of us will probably never try to take a sip of our favorite cologne. The truth is, back in those days, people did not bathe nearly as often as we do today. Perfume and eau de cologne were necessities they hoped could cover up body odor. Eau de cologne was also used to eliminate nasty odors of different rooms in the house. This doesn't happen any more thanks to scented plug-ins and fragrant candles. It's good to know we have all these fragrances to enjoy!

There are hundreds of advertisements for perfume or eau de cologne on television and in magazines. When men go out on a date they love to splash nice fragrant cologne on their skin thinking that the fragrances give them more sex appeal. Many men believe that the way they smell determines the quality of women they date. It's so easy: just put on some cologne on the neck before going out, and once you are in the disco, try leaning in next to the girl you are interested in as she is dancing. Before you know it she will be enchanted by the way you smell and how you are able to move around the dance floor! Another good suggestion is to keep that bottle of cologne handy in one of your inside pockets of your jacket just in case you need some more!

Not all women like the odor of men's eau de cologne. Some time ago it was considered okay to wear perfume or even eau de cologne at the office. In this day and age, though, countless men, women and even children are allergic to certain fragrances, and in some cases the situation had been so bad that many companies and schools had to ban the wearing of perfumes and eau de cologne.

Nevertheless, studies on fragrances continue to demonstrate that perfumes and eau de cologne can indeed develop sexual attraction towards other people.

In conclusion, it may be fair to say that perfume and eau de cologne are just what is needed to determine and enhance intimacy.

Digital Cameras What to Look For

Digital Camera Reviews

Fortunately for all of us, it is quite easy to find a review of a digital camera. There is nothing worse than finding a claimed expert digital camera reviewer that cannot find a single thing wrong with any camera and says they are all great, which doesn't help a buyer at all. If you are looking to read a review about a particular digital camera then don't read any review (not specifications) about how good the camera is if it has been given by the company that manufactures the camera. Any review carried out by a manufacturer, for any product, is going to show it in a good light isn't it?

I mean, what would you expect, supposing you own your own line of digital cameras and to boost your sales, wouldn't you release reviews about your products. Of course you wouldn't point out the bad things or the glitches of your product, because that way you will never be able to increase your sales. I nearly always try a specialist magazine associated with the product and if that isn't available the web is an excellent place to find useful digital camera reviews. It is important to get the real truth about the camera you are about to spend money on and these review are an excellent source.

These reviewers and critics are never afraid to list down the good as much as the bad points of digital cameras. Sometimes the review will take the old product and compare it with the new to see if it is indeed an improvement. Fortunately you can trust these reviews as they are from people not associated with the companies and also very experienced. Don't forget, many hours and often hundreds of photographs have been taken to give you these truthful digital camera reviews.

Many amateur camera users take the time to produce and submit their own digital camera review where they can let the world know their views on the product from personal experience. This does mean that you have at the very least been an owner and user of the camera in question though. When reading reviews, learn to read what certain phrases mean like, weatherproof does not mean waterproof. Be careful what you decide to test to prove a point because if you misinterpret something and damage the equipment, you will have no recourse.

After testing you can write your own digital camera review or reviews, depending on how many things you've learned from your camera. An important point to remember is too let you audience know that your review is from hands on testing. The more honest the digital camera review is, the more successful it will be. If when you do buy your digital camera and it does not perform as promised the call the customer support centre and tell them about your experiences with their product.

How misspelled eBay auctions can save you a small fortune

It's not widely known but a significant number of eBay sellers consistently fail to read through their auction listings before they submit them to eBay.  Sometimes these auction typos are deliberate and result from sellers trying to squeeze too much information in to the auction title (eBay limits this to just 65 letters).  However, more usually these typos are simply due to careless typing or a basic inability to spell.

But why does this matter ?

Because unless someone searching eBay for a particular item happens to misspell the search word in exactly the same way then these misspelled auctions are unlikely to be found.

Up until relatively recently the only way that these auction typos could be located was by looking through the auction listings line by line.

Thankfully there is a better way to locate these misspelled auctions: one that’s been used successfully by tens of thousands of users over the twelve months and it’s to use a web site outside of eBay to search for eBay misspellings called Auction-Fatfingers.com.

This specialized search engine functions by taking a correctly spelled word or brandname, deliberately misspelling it in a variety of ways and then submitting these misspellings to eBay.  Any misspelled auctions containing any of the words on the list of misspellings will then be shown on eBay.

But why do this ?

The answer is amazingly simple !  Because these eBay auction typos are usually so difficult to find they attract less bids. This means that misspelled items usually sell for less than the same item which is spelled correctly, if they sell at all.  So while these stupid typos cost the sellers money they mean that you, the buyer, can grab a real bargain.

If you’re smart you can even relist the misspelled items that you purchase (taking care to avoid introducing typos) in order to make a profit.

So what are you waiting for ? Why not head over to Auction-Fatfingers.com immediately and try searching for 'Abercrombie', 'Motorola' or 'Playstation'. You'll be amazed at the bargains that you can pick up.
