The handbag has turned out to be very popular since its evolution, and continues to grow to this very day. Now a days handbags are very fashionable while still being able to carry everything we need with us in our daily lives. Some fashion designers and fashion houses stock individually designed bags and purses which are desired by many individuals.

The feeling of having a new and fashionable bags and purses makes a person want to add more to their fashion collection. Also leather is the most trendy material used in a bag.

Designer handbags are a creation of uniqueness by the designers and this is trampled upon by other designers who copy the look and design their own version of the same bag. Due to the frequency of imitations within the area of fashion a handbag which was initially a one off product can be found in many other collections, within a few months.

Names like Louis Vuitton, Gucci and many other Italian and French based bags are the most sought after brands of designer handbags. Also American brands are very popular along with brands from Asia and other countries in Europe.

Ladies are of course the main buyers when it comes to handbags so it's no shock that they're the main target for a good number of designers as far as the handbag niche is concerned. Celebrities endorse products by carrying the latest bag, shoes, or clothes; and the designer that made it. Designer bags are given to celebrities, this gets great publicity for both the designer and manufacturer when these accessories are seen on photos of the celeb.

Not all bags are created equal even though many women claim that a handbag is a necessary item in their wardrobe to help them look good and very fashionable. Some bags aren’t simple to match up with your shoes and clothes. Bags with more storage are commonly more popular, as long as the use is effortless.

Although, handbags may fall into the category of an essential commodity for most, there is still the requirement of evaluation in terms of value for money when it comes to the ones in the high-priced designer bracket.

Designer bags are very costly and some cost several thousands of dollars while your regular handbag is a lot cheaper, in fact most are under five hundred dollars.
