Best Shoes For The Winter

As summer disappears, so does the need to walk around bare foot or in skimpy, barely there sandals, exposing your feet to as much fresh air as possible. We will get a cool presents from winter - ice blocks on our feet, slippers and socks to wear. Fortunately winter also brings with it new fashions in shoes so that your pins can always look stylish no matter the weather.

It seems that the boots, like biker boots in vogue and equestrian boots, will be next to ballerina flats and animal prints for this winter. You'll find ballerina flats in all types of materials and colors, with their round toes. This winter animal prints, metallics - especially gold, and velvets are the big sellers. Vamp and ankle ties heel is another choice, as oposed to typical flat shoes we wear.

Besides red color and shiny patent look, Mary Jane's are in fashion too. The name Mary Jane is an American term for a strap shoe or sandal that has low heels, broad, rounded and closed toes and a buckle strap across the instep and/or around the ankle. Before they were made only of black patent leather, but now it's a bit different. These days they come in all colours and all materials including suede and canvas. The shoes that were mainly known as little girls shoes are Mary Jane's - they were only sometimes reffered to as a shoes for little boys. These are quite informal shoes for grown women, but at least there are more and more women who choose to wear them.

The Mary Jane's of today have higher heels and platform soles, which makes them a bit different. Punk rockers and Goths adopted the shoes in particular, although some others would vamp up the "Lolita" look and wear them with high knit socks and a very short paid, pleated schoolgirl skirt.

The peep-toe shoe is one more trend that will flourish this winter. It sounds a little crazy because you would assume that your feet would freeze, but we are assured by people in the know that they are no colder than wearing regular pumps.

I hope that you have more ideas now and see all the options you have when it come to shoes for winter. You'll be perfectly ready for the winter days if you choose what fits your feet and yuor style.
